An audacious Audi S4 Avant is the irresistible and iridescent winner of April’s HIC Rides competition.

Owned by 25-year-old Connor Farrell from Blackburn, the Audi S4 is stacked full of performance enhancing modifications and boasts a paint job which must be the envy of Lancashire.

Audi S4 Avant goes the extra mile

A standard Audi S4 is no slouch, but it’s fair to say that Connor’s car, a 2003 V8, has gone the extra mile in an effort to tweak every last bit of performance out of the engine.

Mods include a full Tony Banks straight through exhaust coupled to 2.75in Milltek racing manifolds.

Under the bonnet you will also find an Audi R8 coil pack and performance enhancing cold air feed.

The Audi boasts a racey low-slung look courtesy of being lowered 100 millimetres all round and it sits on Bilstein coilover suspension kit and showy 18in alloy DTM wheels.

The Audi S4 Avant with the wow factor

As for the paint job, WOW!.

According to Connor: “At night the car looks dark purple but in the day, when the sun is on it, everything flips because there are red, blue, orange and purple metal flakes in the paint.”

It shimmers in a different shade from whichever angle you look at it.

Needless to say, those judging the Audi S4 Avant in the April HIC Rides competition agree that it’s a look that really works.

‘It could be time to supercharge the Audi S4 Avant’

In the future Connor would like to get the car supercharged, but that will come at a cost, both in the short term and the long.

The Audi is Connor’s day car and even before supercharging he reckons it only does around eight miles to the gallon!

HIC Rides is the online car show you can enter from the comfort of your armchair. And, if others like the look of it as much as you do, you can win a professional Auto Finesse Kit to help keep it in pristine condition.
